If you are using Access 97 or 2000, you can view what users are in your database.
There is a utility from MS to do this that you can download free at this link: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q176/6/70.ASP
There is another free utility from FMS that is supposed to do this, plus (optionally) notify the existing users you'd like them to exit and prevent any new users from entering when the last user exits. I have not tested the additional functionality since the Access 97 version, which was buggy. You can find this at: http://www.fmsinc.com/free/utilities/jet4admin.htm
