How do I hide the database window in Access XP?

by  jgoodman00  Posted    (Edited  )
Reading the helpfile will tell you how to hide the database window, & prevent users from viewing it. However, they omit from telling you, that if the option to 'Windows in taskbar' is set to true, they will ALWAYS be able to load the database window, by first loading an object within the database, giving it the focus, & then clicking on the db icon in the taskbar...

So to resolve this issue, follow the helpfile, to hide the database window, but also ensure 'Windows in taskbar' in not enabled. This is found under Tools-Options-General.
