Problem :
Under certain conditions, a report may not print as displayed. This may include fonts that do not
match, clipping, or other irregularities.
Answer:
To resolve this, perform the following steps:
1. Ensure the ObjectPal level is set to Advanced. To do this, click Tools, Settings, Developer Preferences.
2. Open the the report in Design mode, and right-click. Click the Object Explorer, and click
#Report1. Click the Properties tab, and ensure that the PrinterDocument is set to TRUE.
3. Click File, Page Setup, and enable Printer or Screen.
The custom sizes you specify in the other panels refer to this choice. If you design for a printer,
Corel Paradox makes available only fonts that are currently available either to your active printer or to both your printer and to the screen. This may limit your on screen display, but it ensures a
similar document for on screen viewing and printed output.
Onscreen, Corel Paradox attempts to match the look of the printed output. This means that the
screen fonts may not match the printer fonts exactly in height or width. Size-to-fit objects are sized based on the printer font sizes. Onscreen, this may cause clipping or text objects that seem to wrap too soon, but on paper they will look correct.
Note: When you design for a printer, that you do not cause unwanted clipping by sizing objects to a screen font.
