I believe that we found a way to effectively schedule the reports to access data from Outlook Public Folders from within the Info Desktop, with all Seagate-related apps running as services. I was finally able to perform this task!
Here is the fix:
1) When scheduling a report from within the Info Desktop, the report that you created must be referring to an Outlook profile that has the same profile name as the profile name that is associated with the services on the Info Server.
2) When creating the report within the design view, ensure that you are creating the report with the Exchange driver (not the Outlook 97 driver)
3) When preparing the report with the proper Exchange driver, Seagate designer should prompt you to provide correct profile name. Select the profile name that you created based on the one that is corresponding with the services on the server as well.
4) Select your folder that you would like to report on.
5) Create the report as needed.
6) Save the report on the Info APS.
7) Refresh report.
8) Now, you should be able to schedule the report with no problems. (Just ensure that you are not using the option "Use current login id and password for all scheduled logins" within the options of Info Desktop.) This check box must be left blank.
9) If you click on the "logon" tab within the scheduling window of a report you should see that the "server name" is the Outlook profile that you selected. The database will be the Public Folder you are scheduling from.
It would be nice to not matter what Outlook profile is used, rather than being forced to use the profile that is associated with the services on the Info Server. Hope to see this fix in a service patch/release or a new version of Seagate Info/Designer.
