How to setup FM/FM to call your Mobile via a SIP DID/EXT

by  curlycord  Posted    (Edited  )
My Carrier allows only one registered device for each SIP line/ext so I cannot have my main line ring at both my BCM and Smart phone.
SIP lines have their own ext # with the carrier which allows you to dial the dest code from the BCM and then the SIP ext #.

-I have my main SIP line (SIP X301) registered to the BCM
-I have my second SIP ext/DID registered to a SIP app on my Mobile
-My main SIP line is answered by AA
-My main Nortel set is X201
-I have another spare phone X216 that has an Answer DN key on it for X201
-I have Mailbox 216 behind X216 that is allowed the FindMe/FollowMe feature and is programmed to call 302 (94302) where 94 is my Destination Code.

Why I put the FM/FM feature behind 216 instead of 201 is because....I cannot recall!
It was interfering with something else I was scheming mostly likely.

Tip-
Calling Delay Time and Maximum Ring Time you will need to play with so there are no conflicts with when your mobile starts to ring or with your mailbox answering.
My Calling Delay Time starts at 4 so that it gives me that 4 seconds to answer the call if I so happen to be at my desk and do not want it bother ringing my mobile.
My Max Ring Time is at 32 seconds so that is will allow the mailbox (201) to answer at 6 Rings per FNA.
