How to set up LMT running with milliwatt & silence from local CO

Setup Conditions/Equipment:
LS trunk at 2-1-1-6 is assigned with trunk number 101.
This is the trunk that we want to run LMT test on


Procedure to set up trunk to be tested directly with CO milliwatt
1. In CO Trunk descriptor Assignment, set up the CO milliwatt # and silence #
- milliwatt # 6139580109 ---------You should use your local milliwatt test number
- Silence # 613

Note:
6139580109 is the local milliwatt test number for Ottawa. This is used as an example. You should use your local milliwatt test number to avoid any unnecessary loss due to long loop length.
If you plan to use loopback test, make sure these fields are blank.


2. In Analog trunk assignment, make sure that millwatt trunk number and CO Telephone number are blank as follows:
- Milliwatt Trunk Number:
- CO Telephone Number:
- Auto Select: Yes

Note: These Milliwatt Trunk number and CO telephone number fields are used in the loopback environment only.

Note: For the silence test the system will use the digit 5 to break CO dial tone when doing the actual test.


The following were changed automatically in the Analog Trunk assignment for the trunk that was tested:
- Balance Network Setting: Alternate Complex_2
- Trunk Category: Long
