How to find the database in YA-Light (free ed)

If the day comes that you get a new PC or laptop and need to move or copy your YA-Lite (free edition) contacts list, you will find it buried here:

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserID\Local Settings\Application Data\NewHeights\YA3

The file name is YA3.mdb and in fact can be opened in Microsoft Access. Looks like you may even be able to edit it with MSAccess, though I didn't go that far.

Now you know.

Note that you will first need to open Windows Explorer, click on folder options, then view, then scroll down to hidden files & folders and place a tic mark in "show hidden files and folders"

Reinstall YA-Lite (free edition) first, then exit the application (close it). Now you can copy or paste the YA3.MDB file into the above mentioned location on the new computer. Finally restart YA and you should be good to go.
