Hide a user or list from Exchange Address books.

If you can't find the checkbox to hide users and distribution lists from the Exchange Address books don't feel too bad. You can't find it for a good reason. It's totally hidden!

Open Active Directory Users and Computers
Click View
Click Advanced Features (a check should appear)
Then open the properties for the User/Distribution list.
Click Exchange Advanced.
Here you will find a checkbox - Hide from Exchange address lists
Add the check!
