Customer is running 8.1.40 in Hyper-V on 2008R2 Server. After yesterday's Windows Updates they've been having trouble with the server. Right now I have CCR running (just upgraded to 8.1.41), but if I restart Windows then login to CCR as Administrator, none of the services show up. They are not red or green, they are missing. I checked Windows services and they are all there and running. I have to run CCR Repair to get it running again, and every time I reboot the services disappear. Other than that it's been running for about one year with few issues. I uninstalled all of the updates from this week but still having issues. Any ideas?

I've seen the same thing on 2 other systems.

I exported both virtuals and imported them into my lab environment and they worked fine. I could reboot as much as I liked and both showed all services every time. Both guest OS's are Server 2008r2.

One host machine is Server2008r2 running HyperV (obviously) with terminal services. The other host is a Server 2012 HyperV edition.

Haven't yet removed the virtuals from the hosts and reimported them to see if that will fix the issue (I'm doubtful) but thats my next step since they both worked when imported into another host.

Go to Services and clear the application log and see if helps, set all services to restart automatically with delay

After a bit of digging, it appears this issue is a performance issue. CCR services start before the SQL services can, and the effect is exactly this issue.

Run a search on the Avaya support site for SOLN218149. There are two solutions listed to solve this issue.

Nice to know there is a documented fix. I did notice that my SQL service wasn't starting so I manually stopped the CCR services, started SQL, then started CCR and it worked. I set my CCR services to delayed start and that seemed to fix the issue too.
