We've gotten YA 3.1 to run on several workstations and remote users using Cisco VPN. We can get it running no problem from within the LAN and for our folks coming through our firewall. But we have one laptop, a Toshiba Portege, that absolutely refuses to cooperate.

When i fire up the app, I open the IP Phone Emulator to see which adapter it is bonding with. The issue here is that it never bonds with the adapter, no green light at all. I've tried connecting straight through with our CISCO VPN client, and still get the same issue - no bonding. As a result, we always get no audio, even though we can ring out.

Has anyone seen an issue like this and have any ideas? Any thoughts would be extremely welcome.

I've seen something like this with 3.1 and 3.2. Generally I am able to overcome the problem by moving the desired network adapter to the top of the list of adapters. This is done through the Network Connections control panel, Advanced-Advanced Settings.

My experience has been that it will fail most of the time if a working adapter is not found in the first or second attempt.
