XServe G5

I am hoping someone can explain the logic of the XServe G5 not having a redundant power supply to me, yet the XServe RAID add on does. I have a situation where I would consider a mac file server, but it needs to be redundant.

I have a slew of HP Proliant 1U DL360 G3s, and they all have redundant power.

Is there somthing I am missing here?
