Hi, experts:

I have my sites on an ISP which makes available, as statistics tool, the Wusage program from
Well, the version they use is still the old 5.0 (currently Boutell sells 7.1).

I need to know better the data on the many reports generated by Wusage 5.0 in order to evaluate some of my sites and take important decisions.

So, my question is: does anyone know where could I find something like a User Manual for that version, with description of the many info on the reports?

Thanks a lot.

I"ve found that wusage is a bit scarce on the info it puts out. For all purposes I'd direct your ISP to install for you a program that you can view statistics from any PC on net via the browser. Its called "Webalizer" and man it has more info about your web site than you will want to know. And guess what.....its a free program. All it does it takes
your logs and compiles it into a very very comprehensive formate. Also have him combine the refferer and usage log into one log and let webalizer do its thing.
There is some ISP setup reguired to run this program. httpd server config, crond configuration to run this script automatically each day, configuring webalizer which all logs and even the configuration text can be placed in your home directory so that you can make slight changes to webalizer as to the information it puts out.

Here is more info:
This program is very simple to setup.

I think and hope this would be of some help to you,
Maxit
