Working in Spain

Does anyone know what the work situation is like at the southern end of spain, within 100 miles or so of Gibraltar?

I'm currently doing web/interactive TV development using asp/asp.net(c# and vb)/javascript/vbscript. I also know SQL Server pretty well from a developers perspective, and have worked for a longish period in a Windows development environment using vb 6/.net(c#) and MS Office (Uuurrrrgghh!).

Either that or if anyone knows where i'd look for information on work/employment opportunities in that region, that'd be lovely, or what the work rules are in the EU at the moment, (I'm UK based).

This is fairly general, not IT specific:

I would strongly advise taking their advice and getting any employment contracts professionally translated unless you can speak/read/write Spanish to almost native level.

If you have a British passport, you shouldn't have a problem going over there to work because of inter country work laws, but you never know.
