In Version 4.3.1.2 is there any way to enter estimates by period against a work order

The process flow from compatible units to estimates to packaging then creating a BPU will eighther install or remove assets by "period" date. The period date is set in the mso001 "district accounting periods". Installations date is the "date in servive". Removal date is the "vintage year". You can set a "vintage year" date on the MSQ655 Job Estimate. The removal date will auto populate the line item in the BPU for that asset. However, installation dates (period)are the "date in service" dates selected from the date drop down in the MSQ620 (Work Order)or the MSQ660 (Project) programs.

In 4.3.1.2 Work Orders do not have a budget function by period like the project budgets. You can create a work order task that aligns with a period and create an estimate for the task. However, costs are booked at the work order level only so it is difficult to view estimates vs actuals at a task level. If you need to track estimates by period use projects and sub-projects with a work order representing the task.
