I have a wireless ADSL network

I currently need to connect a phone line to my notebook to send a fax, which makes a mockery of wireless telephony!

How can I send a fax from my notebook via the wireless network without have to connect a telephone cable to my notebook?

Mine works fine. I have a Brother 7820 Network Fax machine on my wired network and one mf my devices on the network is the fax machine as a printer. I print to it, put in the number and it goes away.

If I happen to be on the road, I have a fax service called MaxEmail that lets me generate a fax. The service costs me about $20 a year (I spring for CID so it's closer to 40) and I can send a fax for about 10 cents per. I still haven't used up my original $3.00 credit in a couple of years.

I don't want to use a fax service.
I simply want to send one wirelessly

I gave you TWO options, both of which let you send a wireless fax. You're going to need a modem card or fax machine somewhere on the network, or use a service.

If you find something else, feel free to post it here.

You could use a cellphone adapter, that should give wireless fax, since the cell is "wireless". Or like LkEErie said, use an All-In-One and put it on your network with remote access or static IP with VPN or whatever. You could even put a fax modem in one of your WorkStations and use that.

Then you have wireless fax!

Lots of choices... pick one
