Windows Defender Update

When I get the Windows Update ALL the Windows Defender files show FAILED.
I have Kaspersky and Malwarebytes installed as protection and Win7 64bits.
I don't have any issues with the system as far as I can tell, however I was wondering if those "failed updates" can be avoided.

Most third party and some Microsoft programs (like Microsoft Security Essentials) purposely disable Windows Defender when their software is installed. This is to stop it clashing with similar type programs.

You could try disabling Windows Defender manually via the settings and see if that stops the updates from trying to install in the first place.
