1 CDRW Que 24x10x40,
I have wintv card also installed
Running WinXP Pro
When I go to burn a cd, either data or music, My bruner burns about 80% of the file, if its large, say 600megs plus, and then the system shuts down, using Nero 5.4.3 as software. I can burn small file 100meg etc, one at a time and systen stays up. I have install all the updates for all software and drivers. I get the error before shut down which says config may be wrong etc. the it gives me the win32k.sys is what errored out. What is this and what does it do? Any suggestions would help

Win32k.sys is: Kernel-mode part of the Win32 subsystem for Windows XP Pro.
In English, main operating system file.

What other things do you have running when you try to write a cd?
Try turning everything else off, especially antivirus etc.

I pledge to share any information I have and advise to the best of my knowledge based on the information provided.

Will try and shut down all and see if that will do the trick.
