My c drive on my server is completely full what can I do to free up space? What files can be moved, deleted anything? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
I had the similar problem, fortunately or unfortunetaly I do regular image backups using Symanted LiveState Recovery. Using those images I was able to move the 2003 server install to a bigger HD. To free up space I would say start by emptying your temp files and remove anything that u might have in recycle bin. Another thing you can delete is on the root of C:\WINDOWS. You'll see a bunch of uninstall files for you windows updates which look something like $ntUninstall..$, if you've been regularily doing your windows updates you'll see a bunch of these folders. ONLY DELETE THESE IF YOU ARE NOT PLANNING ON UNINSTALLING YOUR WINDOWS UPDATES. This mght give a couple of gigs of free space. I deleted some of these folders which dated back 2004 & 2005 to get some space.
In case you decide to use Symantec LiveState Recovery .. the restoration worked just fine for me, but I'm getting some errors. I have a post here on that which you might wanna check out. Good luck.
Relocate Exchange logs and data to another drive, or clean out user's mailboxes. I have one user that receives & forwards tons of Internet cruft every day, used tons of storage. I backed up then flushed his Inbox & Sent Items. This would only apply of course if your Exchange files are on C:\

Thanks for all of your responses to my problem. I did some of those and a few other things to give myself some breathing room for the time being. Here is list of ideas when your running out of space on the c: for anybody in the same boat going through these postings.
redirect the print spool folder to another drive
decrease the size of IE temporary internet file memory (I brought it down to 4mb) kill IE history log (this will depend on what your server does
killed the recycle bin
moved the paging file to another drive (set c: at 0mb)
downloaded a lightweight free program called ccleaner (crap cleaner) you'll be suprised at the space it finds
move the I386 folder to another drive I suggest using xcopy at the command prompt instead of drag and drop this freed up about 300mb
