I am new to Netware 5., and i have a question. I have two servers, one is netware 5 (File server) and another one is win2k advanced server. User accounts are to be created using NWAdmin. Uer accounts are to be given rights to the files in the netware file server. However, win2k will act as a print server. How do i grant print permission of Windows to Netware user accounts?? In addition, win2k will act as a mail server, how do i grant Netware user accounts e-mail addresses in win2k server?? Can this be done using NWAdmin? or can active directory users and computers see the user accounts of netware? or is it to do with the gateway (Note:gateway used in the workhsop is Cisco router, and not a software thing).
I am totally new to Netware, so please, help me, your help is valuable.
thanks The Smart Ant

Microsoft services for netware will transfer the nds users & groups with permissions to active directory. A patch may need to be applied that can be downloaded from microsoft. I sugest buying a book on 2000 server before doing so and learning how active directory ect works (very similar to nds), the transfer can be tricky. If you only have a few users you can do it manualy by going to active directory users and computers (Win2000 pro clients must also be added as a computer use the user login name) and adding the accounts. Just used the services for netware $150.00 at work and after a patch it did well. Let me know if i can be of futher assitance.
