Whitelisted by AOL

Hello,

My company does business on the web, and we offer an "opt-in" option for our customers to receive promotional email offers. However, customers with AOL email addresses do not receive our emails. AOL limits bulk emailings in order to help stop "spammers". We are not "spamming", however, we are trying to communicate with our customers that have requested to hear from us. Does anyone know how to get "whitelisted" by AOL so we can send bulk emails? We have tried to contact AOL but have been unable to resolve this.

those articles may not be recent, but they may give you an idea what kind of corporate-standpoint AOL is coming from. i would escalate it up the chain when calling into AOL, otherwise it seems legal action is the only way they'll listen.
