When the customer forgets to press the nite button on the recetion phone callers get 6 rings and go to the voicemail of x230 instead of the general delivery mailbox. The trunks are setup to go to x240 the general delivery mailbox and DRT is set to yes.

I know i'm missing something but cannot find it.

Thanks

Check to see that under normal conditions the AA answers in 6 rings. If normally 230 rings on incoming calls and it is programmed to be CFNA to VM in 6 rings and AA doesn't answer the call will go into MB 230.

Thank you

That solved the problem

just my 2 cents

if lines ring on two different exts., calls will fna to the mailbox of the lower numbered ext. that's why it goes to 230's instead of 240's mbox.

that is why 221 is usually assigned as the operator with the general del mbox.
