Hi,

What's the difference between Multisync monitors and CRT monitors and are they compatible with the average video card?

I was given a NEC Multisync 5D (JC-2002VMA-1)
My system is:
P4 2.4g
WinXP Pro
GF4-MX440 64Mb

Is this monitor compatible with my system?

Thanks

Multisync is just NEC's product name. The monitor works like all other CRT's.

The reason I asked if they were compatible is this particular monitor MultiSync 5D JC-2002VMA-1) was manufactured in 1991 and has a two 15 pin connecters in the back.

The first has two rows and the second has three rows.

2 rows = vga (old) - 3 rows = super vga (new). Use the 3 row.
