Webshield any good ?? 1

is the Webshield product any good for stopping spam
at the gateway after the firewall before it gets to say an exchange server???


were looking for some products to stop spam and do mail filtering also if possible. I heard several net appliances
but are they worth it as hardware/software combo ???

I'd say it's pretty good. A new version of the WebShield Appliance (2.7) will be out soon and it will have the SpamAssassin engine built-in for anti-spam. I'm working with the RC version and it's working better than expected.
