Web Reporting Issue

Page server crashes many times during the day while we access reports through a URL. Is thr a particular or specific reason behind this problem.
Also I have UserId , Password and DSN name defined in some *.ini file. I read these three things from thr. Now I can pass to the report userid and password using the web server commands available but how to pass DSN name.
or can I change DSN name while calling reports on web.

This could be caused from a few issues.
There is a white paper on how to best tune the WCS (Web Component Server)

The only way that you can change the DSN of a report is by using the RDC components, which would require ASP development, and knowledge of OOP concepts. There are Seagate samples that show you how to do this...
