Does Avaya have any ACD Agent offerings like One-X Agent that do not require a client to be installed on the user's workstation? i.e. - access via a web browser versus a client? I'm having an issue getting the software approved for installs and wanted to know if there were any other options aside from hardphones.

Short Answer: No.
Slightly Longer Answer: There are at least two alternatives to installing One-X Agent on each PC but they both take quite a bit of work.
Avaya One-X Agent will install and work via Citrix, assuming your company already has that infrastructure.
There is also integration with Salesforce.com with a web-based phone client - again, assuming you rely on SFDC and have an Avaya AES hanging around.

Or Workspaces for Elite - it's a 3 or 5 server breeze cluster that needs control manager on top :)

Would ec500 work for you?

We are using the citrix option with AAD to help with all the WFH agents that we have been blessed with managing.
I like it because they can reach citrix from their own machine via a web browser and we are actually looking towards this solution when all this is over because it means we don't have to install One-X and AAD on anyone's machines.

Thanks everyone. We'll look into implementing via Citrix.

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Avaya One Cloud has WebRTC agents available today, or if you are after something for an on premise system , look into "Avaya Agent for Desktop"
