Can anyone please help?

We're using ISA server 2000 on our domain purely for web access and nothing else. The problem is that today whenever somone wants to access the web (lets say by going to googles website)after about a minute or 2 of trying to get to the site it prompts him for his username and password. Then after about another 2 minutes it finally pulls up the page. But when you connect to a website from the isa server it connects at normal speed (which should be normal).

I did a norton av scan and an online microtrend scan on the isa server but nothing was found.

Please offer your suggestions because it's becoming very urgent!

Thanks
Nate

go to cmd...see if you can ping dns server with the name of the server. If it takes more than 5 seconds to come back with a reply, you might have a problem with DNS & Active Directory 2003. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply but there wasnt any delay with ping.

It seems that ISA may have become corrupt. Crazy things were happening on the server. We had an image of the server from a few months ago, and with a little configuring it came up fine.
