On this domain controller is an exchange installed.

When we try to change the ip we get fase information from the system telling us everything is on dhcp while the server has a static ip.

When we do an ipconfig we get the wright values.

If we change the ip of this server should we change anything in our exchange config or is this going to run just fine.

I would like some help with this.

It should continue to run just fine.

However any workstations or other servers which have this servers IP address (such as other domain controllers) listed as a DNS server will need to have the IP address changed or they may start to show problems.

If you're doing NIC teaming, you might get that warning about DHCP, since the individual NICs are DHCP, and the Team has a static IP address.

Also I would open the registry, search for the old IP address, and replace any entries with the old address with the new IP.
