voicemail not working 2

Just Added a 412 card to our phone system,Did a board renumber.See's the card but voicemail will not pick up.Even by dialing the port extensions

In my experience, doing a board renumber will sometimes yank the station ports out of 770. Take a look at that DCG and see if that's what has happened.

I'm not sure why a board renumber sometimes does this. It makes sense if you've moved the VM board around, or inserted a card IN FRONT of the VM board and changed the station count. But if the new 412 card was installed in a slot following the voicemail, then I remain at a loss to explain why this happens.

Your post couldn't be any more poignant...I just dealt with a guy who had the EXACT same thing happen yesterday with a two-carrier Legend and 007MLM.

My guess is - you put the 412 in BEFORE the voicemail - so your voicemail port numbers in the voicemail calling group are no longer accurate. You will have to go into extentions, more, group calling, members, put in your voicemail calling group# and then correct the VM port information.
