Can I add voicemail to the MerlinII/511A, if so, which ones? And is it worth the trouble. Thanks

Voicemail for Merlin II/511A

It's possible under a few conditions. You must have a Release 3 'C' processor, the 012 analog card the voicemail is interfaced with must be 'E' release or higher, and only older Merlin Mails (R2, R2.2, R7.4, R7.5) can be set to switch type Merlin II. Even after all this the voicemail is not very user friendly. Too many codes to dial to perform the different voicemail actions.
In my opinion you'd be better off upgrading to any release Legend and then add a Merlin Mail or 007 MLM. It's easier to program and better voicemail integration. Brian Cox

Then a follow up question... can i use the cards in the merlin II in a merlin legend? They are 1-408 card, 1-008 card and 1-012 card. Thanks!
The 408, 008, and 012 should work on a Legend. The 008 and 012 would not work on a Magix system. Brian Cox
