I am installing a new CallPilot where the customer does not have a SCSI cable to perform a backup for a migration from Meridian Mail. I was able to get the prompts up but, I am unable to link my prompts built in App Builder to my system. Any suggestions? Plus, my CP player is unable to call any extension. I get a "Destination unreachable or does not exist". I have checked my RPLs and what I could but nothing seems to work. Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.

I think this thread belongs here. Unfortunately, I am uncertain what you mean by "link your prompts."

Once you build your application and configure the voice items in application builder, you must go in to File > Properties > Security (tab) and enable the application to be accessed via Voice Item Maintenance, and set a password in the same area for access via VIM.

As far as not being able to call an extension, are you able to through-dial to the extension via the TUI when calling a mailbox?

(Call your mailbox, while listening to your greeting dial 0+XXXX, where XXXX is an internal extension)

The RPL that applies to your Call Pilot Desktop Messanger client (aka CallPilot Player) is the Desktop RPL on your mailbox class. Make sure the RPL set for Desktop can reach the internal extensions.

Nortel: CallPilot messaging solutions Forum #1553 might be a better Forum fo this question.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

when you go into the cp interface, system-service directory number then new and assign a number to a file name, leave everything else default.. what do you get when you dial the vsdn?
