HI All,

I am able to vmotiom server B to Server A but when I go to Vmotion back (orphaned) apears next to the VM in server B on VC and then says invalid and the server is moved back to a. Then I get an error (This operation is not allowed in the current state). Any idea what is wrong?

couple of things to check:
1. Is a CD attached
2. Is there a snapshot
3. Is the VM suspended
4. Can you vmkping the vmotion interface from A to B and B to A

Check thses things out ad report back
