hi,

I know how to use the VLookup function in excel, but that only works if you specifie a table array.
My problem is as follows: Each time data are added to a list (column, row, whatever), the function has to take the new data into account. I don't want to go changing the formulas each time the amount of data changes.
Is this possible with a custom function? If yes...help!?
thanx

thanx, this works fine indeed!
or should I say "bedankt", guessing by your name you're Dutch-speaking?

Tack, tack! would also be suitable, as my first name is Ingrid.

What names parents invent for their newborn baby ... LOL
