Visual Source Safe & Access on Network

Hi All,

visual source safe is engine based server (like oracle) or a file based server (like access) ???

where can I find visual safe server, because when I save a project I get a message to add it to visual source safe so does my machine already have source safe or what.....

Using an access database is adviseable on a network running 5 computer or not....can users simultaneously access on it.

If you got that msg then it means you have VSS installed.
VSS is created for a team-work-application where a number of programmers working together on the same project. VSS help maintenance it so the programmers will not over write each other.
