I am looking for some direction on how, if at all possible, to setup a visual indicator such as a Flashing Light when calls have been queued.

Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You need an available analog port. On the hunt group form, set the "calls warning threshold" to 1 and enter the analog port. Wire the analog port to the bell, light, whatever, and you're in business. -CL

The G3 uses ringing current (90V AC to light the light/ring the bell.

If you use a Lamp Flasher from Radio Shack you can power AC Devices such as a red Police rotating light. This is what I did in our call center and it works well.

On a similar note, is there any way to send some sort of alert to a pager?

JeepCrazyKid, maybe you could use a vector to accomplish the pager activation. Just a thought.

CALL VECTOR

Number: 77 Name:
Lock? n
Basic? y EAS? n G3V4 Enhanced? y ANI/II-Digits? y ASAI Routing? n
Prompting? y LAI? n G3V4 Adv Route? y CINFO? y BSR? y Holidays? y

01 goto step 2 if calls-queued in split 1 pri m > 5
02 route-to number (Pager Number) with cov y if unconditionally

I have tried the pager thing before and if you use the commands listed in the previous post the actual call will goto the pager is that what you are looking for ?

But as far as I have been able to find there is not a way to send an alert to a pager but not send the call there. José

Please let me know if this was helpful
