I am moving all my laptops in my org to Vista. We use Smartcards for authentication but I keep getting an error "The card supplied requires drivers that are not present on this system. Please try another card." I am using Gemplus GemPC400 smartcard reader card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Vista replaced the GINA subsystem with a new COM based Credentials Provider subsystem. You'll need a new "driver" (plug in) from your 3rd party manufacturer.

But my Dell Keyboard smartcard readers are not working with Vista either. Might there be something in the Group Policy for the local machine that needs to be enabled?
Thanks@!
