I have purchased a new PC with XP Professional installed on it. It does not recognise my Viewsonic Viewpanel VPA145 monitor. I cant find the install disks or find any drivers on the Viewsonic site. Can anyone tell me how I can get XP to recognise the monitor or where I can get drivers for it please?

Thanks

Thanks I will have a look at that. It is very strange the screen looks terrible when I boot normanlly but for some reason I had to go into safe mode and it looked great!!!!!

In that case it certainly is a driver problem. The way I understand it, when in safe mode Windows doesn't load all the drivers and so is probably using some sort of inbuilt generic driver. Have you tried uninstalling Viewsonic display drivers and fishing around in Windows (Add new hardware) for a driver that works, that may be the answer if nothing else works.

That has solved the problem - Thanks. The key seems to be having the screen on 1024x768 resolution.

Is there somewhere I can get the software to rotate the screen?
