I know this has been discussed before, but I just can't find all the steps to make it work. I'm sure a well written answer could make a great FAQ.
I have a ACS R7 with Partner Messaging 7 and a 4 port card. The system has four incoming lines and 18 extensions (16 of which are active with phones).
Extensions 10,11,12,13 ring on any incoming call (3 rings) then the call goes to Auto attendant 1 who gives three options: 1 for sales ringing 10,11,12 2 for customer service ringing ex 12 and 3 for accounting ringing ex 10 only.
We only have three employees, so the other phones are mostly unused.
Currently any unanswered call (once directed through the auto attendant) will be dropped due to "transfer unavailable"
I would like to have a mailbox for each of the call groups.
Can someone provide a step by step? Extensions 10,11,12,13 also have normal voicemail.
