Verifying DMI Pool Data

Hello Gurus... I am here again..
My newly build PC is getting stuck at the message "Verifying DMI Pool Data" after an attempt to load Linux
The linux installation crashed after formatting the disk and before copying the image files to disk. My system board is GA-MA770-DS3

Any idea what is causing the problem?
