VBA Generated Excel File Crash?

Hi All,

Anyone heard of this before?

A user is generating a excel spreadsheet from a query using the Tools>Office Links> Analyze with MS Excel function in Access.

She manipulates the file a little, then attempts to save. Excel crashes and auto-recovers the file, then she can save as usual. Apparently only happens with excel files generated by Access.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I don't remember the specifics, but I had a similar problem some time ago. It had to do with Access creating an invalid name for a worksheet. What does the name on the tab look like? Is there anything in the event log related to the error?
