I have configured VAL manager, however every time I try to pull the VAL board info I get the following error in the log:

There was an error retrieving the VAL boards for RDC. 1 00000000 51c5 Object command word omitted; please press HELP

I see previous posts that say to upgrade VAL manager, but after having spent 35mins on the support.avaya.com site I have yet to find ANY downloads for VAL manager. (yes I was logged in with my user credientials)

VAL manager version 5.0.11 same as ASA version. CM version 5.2.1

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Rich

Also, make sure your login has adequate permissions.

I installed the newest patch that 4merAvaya provided the links to and yet still have the same problem. I am using the same superuser login/pw that I use for ASA, same port settings, etc.

Keep getting the same error posted in my original email.

I am loading up an FTP client to see if I can still get to the VAL boards that way, but would prefer to use VAL manager.

Thanks again for the responses.

Do you have a good network connection for the VAL board - can you ping it?

That did it!

Thanks for your assistance.
