Hi, I have a couple quick questions. Any help graciously accepted.

1. Is there a way to share one movie between 2 platforms. Typically my co-worker creates a movie to look good. He's a graphic designer and then he sends them to me (programmer) to insert all teh actions. when he sends me the .fla, his fonts he used are not on my system so my system opens it and defaults the fonts to verdana or something. this looks awful and so I add activities, and then re-send it back to him to export the .swf and it works but it's frustrating because I'd just like to see the .fla file the way he made it, and then be able to export the movie. He's working on a mac with flash mx, adn I'm on a pc wiht flash 5. Anybody done this before? Am I doomed to a life of installing every font he uses?

2. I'm sending some critical information from a flash movie to a script using geturl sending variables using post. the address i'm sending the fields to is
My question is if I'm sending the varibles from a movie whos address is is there any time in there where the fields aren't being encrypted? In other words if movie is on a http:// but script i'm sending varibles to is https:// is this a security risk?

Thanks,
dan

1) You will need to get the fonts installed on your system in order for the display to be right - go a Google search for a bit of shareware called 'Crossfont' which converts Mac to PC fonts really well.

2) My guess is that the data you're sending will not be encrypted as the initial connection isn't secure.
