Using Mac Printer with a PC

I have an old MacIntosh Printer (HP 2279A) that I was hoping to be able to use with a PC. Does anyone know if it is possible to get an adapter that will connect the Din-8 Serial connection to a standard Parallel Port?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
