I would like to know how, if possible, to clear the drop down menu that shows all the URLs I have viewed. Any help is appreciated..thank you.

I was trying to do the same and a search on google provided me with little more than this article to let me know that it's not documented.

I found that under Windows you have to find and remove (preferrably rename) the following file:

QuickTime.qtp

This is your QuickTime Preferences file and it contains your cached URLs. You'll have to go through the initial preferences dialog again, but the URL list will be wiped.

In Windows XP (what I'm running) it's located in:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\QuickTime

Obviously, you'll have to adjust for different versions and setups. Also, there are a few other copies of this that I noticed on my system, notably in the System32 directory. Changing these didn't seem to do anything, and they may be system defaults, so I wouldn't recommend modifying these unless the above path doesn't work.
