I am upgrading an existing Catalyst 3550 with Enhanced image to a 3750 with Standard image. The 3550 is doing routing and I have static routes created, so no OSPF or RIP. Am I looking at any caveats by not having a enhanced image on the 3750?

If you are just doing static routes it shouldn't be an issue using the 3750 with the standard image.

So Enhanced gets you the other routing protocols like OSPF, EGIRP, etc... and since I'm doing static routes, I don't have to worry about the enhanced image. Just making sure I understand. Thanks.

Cajuntank, your understanding sounds correct.
Consider multicasting as well though - going to the 3750 Standard image you will not be able to do Multicast routing.
