Unknown Event 1712.An internal error occurred in Groupshield

I am running Mcafee Groupshield Version 5.2 on Exchange 2000 on a windows 2000 network.
I keep getting emails from the exchange server with the following message:
Unknown Event 1712.An internal error occurred in Groupshield - please check the log for details.(from "Exchange server" IP 192.168.0.4 user SYSTEM running GroupShield 5.20.664.0 AVExch32)

But there is nothing in the event logs

Does anyone know what this event is?
