Uninstalled IDE HDC's wont reinstall

I unistalled the Primary and Secondary IDE controllers and they will not reinstall.
I get the following in XP Pro.

IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
unknown device
unknown device
VIA Bus Master IDE Controller

I have tried uninstalling the VIA Bus Master IDE Controller
Nothing seems to work..
I have a Maxtor 160 G HDD.
When I reboot It finds the new hardware but cant find the HDC drivers.
Any Ideas...

Make and model of motherboard?
Did the motherboard/system come with a drivers CD?
