Folks,

I have a system which has about 14 MS Access reports in it. When a user with a run-time version of Access attempts to preview them (via my report menu) all will work except 2 of them.

The 2 offenders do not open, do not produce an error message and do not dirsupt the system.

On further investigation, the 2 reports are the only 2 where the underlying queries have the DateAdd() function in the WHERE clause.

I should also mention that Access 97 is the only version in use.

Any-one else encountered this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Graeme

Further info:

It is not the dateAdd function, it is the date() function.

Using Date() will stop the report from functioning. Using Date [no brackets] will prompt the user to enter the date, as if it was a parameter.

Anyone know a work-round?
