Hi,
Am trying to update an Administrative install point of MS Project 2000 (yes, I know) with the MSP file to upgrade it SR-1. I've looked all over the web and it seems to be very simple, at a command prompt do the following:
MSIEXEC.EXE /A \\>SERVER\SHARE>\>PATH TO CURRENT ADMINISTRATIVE INSTALLATION>\INSTALL.MSI /P C:\MSPRJPCH\MSPRJSR1.MSP SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE
or various similar permutations. My problem is that when I try to do pretty much any of these, all I get is either the Msiexec windows installer help and switches popup, or a notification advising the the MSI fie is unreadable! I'm running WIndows XP SP2, Windows Installer v3.01
Any help or suggestions VERY gratefully accepted..
cheers
Will
