Just a tad unsure about this. I have a adsl modem/router connected to a d-link router. Both have dhcp enabled - should one of them be disabled, or does the d-link router override the modem/router?
I tried disabling the modem one, but that caused a bit of mayhem for awhile.
The modem router issues addresses 192.168.0.2 -> and the d-link router issues addresses 192.168.15.2 ->. The nodes are picking up the latter range of addresses, so obviously assigned by the d-link.
So, what to do with the modem dhcp server - just leave it alone?
Cheers,
Brodie
