Two computers, one line, one account?

I have two computers, each with a DSL modem (USB) and one DSL line in my house. Only one computer needs to be online at any time (I want to use only one account from my ISP). Is it possible to set things up so that I don't have to plug/un-plug anything when I want to disconnect one computer and connect the other to the internet? Right now, when both modems are connected to the wall socket, even if one computer is off, the other cannot get online. I have to unplug one modem to use the other.

I do not wish to get a router or hub because I don't need to have both computers online simultaneously.

With the 1 DSL in your house you would need to have
a hub and or a router application. Jeter@LasVegas.com
